A: Anyone who is interested in the future of comuunity owned radio.
Q: How large must the gifts be?
A: Gifts may be in any size: a few dollars or a large estate.
Q: Who determines how the monies will be spent?
A: The Board of Directors of AACB, Inc. unless otherwise specified by the donor.
Q: Are gifts/cash exempt from the Federal and State taxation?
A: Yes, to the degree allowable under IRS codes. Check with your city or accountant. In case of a gift involving large sums of money or an estate, we suggest that you consult your attorney.
Q: Can you designate specific projects on which your gift is to be spent?
A: Yet, within the limit set by the Board of Directors.
Q: Is there a report of funds?
A: Yes, an annual audit of the funds is performed by a CPA and is submitted to the AACB, Inc Board and placed in KBBG public access file. It is available to the public during normal business hours. |
